From November 30 through December 4, 2005 the Moscow Central House of Artists will host an Antiquarian book fair √ a new project from the organizers of Russian antiquarian fairs and Fairs of intellectual non-fiction literature.

Organizers of the event aim to attract public attention to collecting of old and rare books, to revive traditions and interest in this branch of collecting, and to create a developed antiquarian books market in Russia.

According to Alexei Vengerov, a well-known collector and antique dealer, collecting of books has a centuries-long history, which managed to survive during changes of social formations, historical periods, customs and traditions, natural to different peoples. General information sponsor of the Moscow Antiquarian book fair is the ╚Antiq.Info╩ magazine.
