The Central House of Artists in Moscow launched three book fairs on November 30: International Fair of Non-fiction Literature, an Exhibition-fair ╚Artist▓s Book╩ and Antique Book Fair. The general informational sponsor of those events was the ╚Antiq.Info╩ magazine.
It was already the 7th International Fair of Non-fiction Literature opened in the Russian capital, while the other two Fairs debuted in Moscow this year. However, each of the shows featured interesting and important books, among them extremely rare and unique editions of Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Mayakovsky, first copies of old scientific and church books, handwritten manuscripts and other rarities. Prices at the Fairs were comparable to those in Moscow antique bookshops.
The exhibition was opened through December 1√4 from 11 am to 7 pm. Visitors to the event were able to meet well-know public figures, writers and actors: a French writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt (December 3, 14.00), Igor Guberman, Renata Litvinova and Leonid Parfenov (December 4, 13.40).
